Airspace Proposal
Humberside Airport intends to submit a proposal to the Directorate of Airspace Policy, a division of the Civil Aviation Authority, to reclassify an area of airspace in the immediate vicinity of the Airport.
The aim of this proposal is to increase flight safety to aircraft during critical stages of flight, though the overall efficiency of aircraft movements in the area should also be improved. Part of the proposal process is to consult those that may be affected by the reclassification – public bodies, organisations and individuals collectively known as ‘stakeholders’ - by promulgating a Stakeholder Consultation Document outlining the proposal.
Interested parties are invited to follow the links to the
consultation document and a short guide to Air Traffic Control.
Stakeholders please note that the deadline for comments on the Consultation Document is now 3rd October 2008.
