Airspace Proposal

Humberside Airport intended to submit an application to reclassify an area of airspace in the immediate vicinity of the airport through the Airspace Change Proposal (ACP) process with the aim of enhancing flight safety. However, the downturn in the global economy and the knock-on effects to the aviation industry as a whole has lessened the case for the ACP. Therefore it has been decided to put the ACP submission on hold until such time as deemed appropriate. We are confident that when the UK economy recovers from recession we will then be able to move forward with our ACP submission to ensure the continued safety of our operation. In the meantime, Humberside Airport will continue to maintain a high standard of flight safety and provide high levels of service to its ATC customers.
