Three Is The Magic Number For Airport Ground Crew
Ground crew working for Servisair at Humberside Airport have been awarded the Thomsonfly ‘Ready, Steady Win’ competition for the third year in a row.
Staff scooped first place in the Satellite Station category of the competition, which judges ground crew performance over a 26 week campaign period. Each airport is placed in a category according to size and the ground crews are challenged to meet targets set in several performance areas.
The areas measured include customer care and baggage handling, with Humberside Airport’s crew boasting a flawless on-time performance record, which means that every flight during the campaign period left on time.
The Servisair crew were proud to discover that they had once again been named as the top performing team in their category, confirming the team’s commitment to providing an efficient and professional service to all passengers travelling through Humberside Airport. The team’s performance was not just measured on statistics, but also the friendliness of the service and the helpful attitude of all staff contributed to the team once again taking first place.
Lynn Bray, Servisair Station Manager at Humberside Airport, said,
“To have won this award for the third year in a row is just outstanding and I am so proud of the whole team for continuing to provide such a high level of service. The dedication that they show to ensuring that every holiday from Humberside Airport gets off to the best possible start is commendable and I would like to congratulate the team on a job very well done!”
Rob Goldsmith, Managing Director at Humberside Airport, said,
“The Servisiar Ground Crew continue to exceed all expectations by providing a service that is second to none. It is this kind of commitment to passenger satisfaction and attention to detail which makes Humberside the region’s airport of choice.”
