- Humberside Airport serves in excess of 500,000 passengers a year and reaches over 30 destinations.
- The top five passenger destinations are Majorca, Amsterdam, Turkey, the Canary Islands and Bulgaria.
- A fourth daily service from Humberside to Amsterdam has recently been introduced by leading operator KLM, enabling easier access to flights to 300 destinations worldwide from Schiphol airport.
- Humberside Airport not only serves scheduled and charter air passengers, but has a thriving freight operation and is home to the second largest heliport in the country serving gas rigs in the North Sea.
- Nearly 1 million people live within a 30-minute drive of Humberside Airport and 4.2 million are less than an hour’s drive away.
- The length of the main runway at Humberside Airport is 2,230 metres.
- Approximately 700 people employed on the Humberside Airport site, of whom roughly 170 are directly employed by the Airport itself. The remainder are employed by the numerous service companies that work with the airport.
- Humberside Airport is one of the few in the UK to have its own travel agency inside the terminal building. Opened in 2005, Humberside Airport Travel serves passengers flying from Humberside Airport and all other airports across the UK, seven days a week.
