Travelling over 14,000 miles to China and back in one hour may seem impossible, but not at Humberside Airport.
Visitors to the Humberside Airport Travel Show on Sunday 21 January will be transported to sample the delights of the Far East, stopping off to appreciate the Après-Ski in Austria and the beautiful garden island of Madeira on the return trip.
The Travel Show, which takes place from 12pm to 4pm, will showcase many of the exciting new holiday opportunities available from the region’s local airport. There will also be a range of special offers exclusively for visitors at the event, however, places are limited so early booking is recommended.
A recent addition to the Airport will be making a special appearance at the show. Wendy Wu China Tours is a leading specialist in fully inclusive tours of China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Wendy Wu can now offer extensive programmes and group tours from Humberside Airport flying with KLM via Amsterdam. A representative of the company will be on hand at the Travel Show to speak to visitors about the personal service they provide, using their extensive experience and knowledge of the Far East to highlight the best that it has to offer.
The Airport also recently announced the launch of a brand new weekly departure to Innsbruck in Austria, where passengers can sample some of the best ski resorts in the world. From December 2007 Inghams, a ski and snowboard specialist, will be offering a selection of holiday options from Humberside Airport, with a variety of hand-picked hotels, apartments, chalets and club hotels located to choose from. Visitors to the Travel Show will be able to book from the range of ski holidays available at the Humberside Airport Travel shop.
A representative of Newmarket Holidays will also be at the Show to talk about the exciting range of Mediterranean short breaks and longer stays direct from Humberside Airport. Newmarket Holidays will operate special departures during summer 2007 to destinations including Madeira, Naples, Verona and Lake Garda, with tours of the Austrian Alps and Italian Lakes also available.
There will be some fantastic special offers available on all holiday bookings made on the day through Humberside Airport Travel, including free car parking at Humberside Airport for a maximum of 14 nights, free insurance (restrictions apply) and free child places for selected departures. Huge savings can also be made through other significant show-only discounts and bookings will also receive a free bottle of wine to celebrate a great deal.
