New Winter Destination Piste De Resistance For Airport
For passengers looking for a break from the traditional sun, sea and sand, Humberside Airport has announced the arrival of a great new destination which promises sun, sport….and snow!
From December 2007, customers flying from their local airport will be able to travel direct to Innsbruck in Austria, where they can take advantage of some of the best ski resorts in the world. Leading UK and Ireland tour operator and ski-holiday specialist, Inghams, will be offering packages with Saturday departures from Humberside Airport throughout the winter season from 22 December 2007 to 15 March 2008.
This is a great addition to Humberside Airport’s winter flight programme which already includes the popular ski destination of Plovdiv in Bulgaria; a great option for a low-cost ski holiday. Innsbruck will offer passengers from the region something completely different, allowing them to sample superb ski resorts such as Kitzbuhel, Westendorf and the exceptional resort of St. Anton, which is commonly considered to be one of the best high alpine ski resorts in the world.
For those not used to the fast pace of life on the slopes, beginner’s lessons are available but there are plenty of other things to enjoy in these picturesque resorts for those who want to take in the stunning scenery.
