Wireless Hotspots
Stay connected - access the web from your laptop or PDA at cafes and seating areas in the terminal building at Humberside Airport. T-Mobile Wireless HotSpots let you access emails and surf the Internet at wireless broadband speeds. You can also access the Humberside Airport website for free.
What you’ll need
A wireless enabled Wi-Fi (802.11b) laptop/PDA and web browser.
What it costs
Using a T-Mobile HotSpot can cost as little as £0.75 for 10 minutes.
If you have a T-Mobile phone, you can set up a HotSpot account and your HotSpot charges will be added to your phone bill. Just text OPEN to 9526 and T-Mobile will text you back a username and password.
You can also buy a pass online using your credit card at any T-Mobile HotSpot across the airport. Prices start at £5 for one hour.
If you’re a regular user of the T-Mobile HotSpot service, then for only £23.50 per month you get unlimited use at T-Mobile HotSpots across the UK, including Humberside Airport.
What to do
When you’re at the airport and sitting in a HotSpot, launch your browser and insert any web address. You’ll be directed to the T-Mobile HotSpot webpage.
Enter your login details if you already have an account. If not, select one of the payment options and buy a pass online – you’ll be given a username and password to use straight away. It really is that simple.
