Important Information

Information about Humberside Airport’s response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19): Updated 31 March 2020. Humberside Airport remains open for flights and we are working closely with the relevant authorities to ensure that we continue to operate safely and maintain a safe environment for our customers. Passengers should contact their airline for any information on flights and anyone visiting or transiting through the airport should first consider if they pose a risk to others. We would ask that you follow the guidance from Government regarding hygiene standards and social distancing. Given the current restrictions on travel and the subsequent reduced number of flights, we have adjusted our airport opening times to the following: Mon-Weds 07:00 - 17:45, Thu-Fri 08:30 - 17:15, Sat 09:00 - 12:45, Sun Closed. CAR PARKING. Please do not stop or park on any of the airports roads which are marked with yellow or red lines and/or hatching, or within the bus stop area. You may be liable for a fine. Please utilise the free 15 minute drop off and collection area which is situated in car park 1.

Filming and Photography

Permission is required for any filming or photography on our premises in advance.

Humberside Airport will consider relevant news filming and photographic requests on the site from accredited news organisations.

Each request will be considered on a case by case basis, however, filming at international airports provides logistical and security challenges which means that whilst we will be accommodating, sometimes it will simply not be possible to facilitate non-essential filming and photography requests.

Requests for permission should be made at least 5 working days in advance of the proposed date.

Requests should be emailed to with the following information:

  • Name, contact number and email address
  • Company name
  • Nature of filming/photography
  • Preferred date and time for the proposed visit
  • The reason for requesting to film at Humberside Airport
  • Details of what the footage/photographs will be used for and when it is due to appear
  • Areas at the airport you wish to film/photograph
  • Number of crew and type of equipment to be used
  • Please provide a certificate for public liability insurance for a minimum of £10 million

Commercial filming and photography - At present, Humberside Airport is unable to accommodate commercial or location filming/photography requests or assignment projects from student film-makers.
