SECURITY SCREENING
ELECTRONIC ITEMS IN BAGGAGE
Electronic items may be carried in either hold or hand baggage. However, battery operated items carried in hand baggage should be charged up and capable of being switched on. Any electronic items larger than a mobile phone need to be removed from hand luggage at the Security Control Point and placed in a tray to be screened separately. This includes items such as iPads, Hair Dryers/straighteners, travel irons/kettles, calculators etc
You are requested to remove any electronic items larger than a mobile phone from your hand baggage to assist with Security Screening.
Please select a suitably sized tray and place all electronic items together in the tray, without stacking items on top of each other.
Please do not mix electronic items with others, such as liquids, in the same tray. Everyday items such as keys, wallets, mobile phones, coins etc. can be kept in your hand baggage or placed in a separate tray.
Humberside Airport would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thank You
